Production Schedule

Week of Nov 9th: Text Scenes and found footage backgrounds set up

Week of Nov 16th: Create miniature green screen for Arnold's scene. Find action figures/ decide character types. Continue working on Text and Backgrounds.

Week of Nov 23rd: Finish Jeezy and do T.I's and Wayne's section through action figures, hand drawn, or rotoscoped.

Final Project

For my final project I want to create an animation based on a selection of audio interludes from various Cd's. I enjoy doing stop motion and would like to create some scenes and have interesting backgrounds. Rotoscoped backgrounds could be a possibility for scenes that will be too difficult to construct. Hand drawn animation with the help of after effects would be another usage of animation for the project. Instead of having a narrative with a plot, I enjoy staying within the experimental realm and having each almost as their own short. Confusion and blurryness in between stories and making no sense is what I am striving for. I enjoy the look of robot chicken:

It Would be nice to create my own characters but lack of knowledge of how to do this and materials would be my biggest challenge. Most of the interludes include characters Young L.A. and Yung Dro. One clip includes the dialogue for a fake movie trailer that would be another choice to do including similar characters. Cut outs in stop motion may be a route to take in the order of creating my own characters. I've currently had a computer breakdown so I am unaware of the full actual content of the samples so its hard to go in depth on the actual storyboards yet, but will be up tomorrow.
